Often, women feel overwhelmingly stressed, have lost hope, are tired of dealing with the cycle of toxic relationships, or are desperately trying to attain inner peace and happiness. This group was designed to encourage, uplift, and restore centered around the notion of the modern day Proverbs 31 woman in search of finding herself versus the biblical Proverbs 31 woman whose entire existence revolved around her home and family. Share daily struggles, wisdom, or ask advice regarding an honest attempt to merge the two perspectives. less

ABOUT THE CREATOR:
I am not a guru. I am just a girl who has had a love-hate relationship with the gym my whole life. I love to workout. My motivation has not always been authentic. Because I have always had issues with depression, I used transforming myself as a way to deflect what I was feeling. It was as if I saw something different in the mirror then whatever sadness I felt would disappear. Sad to say it was my own version of cutting.
Today I work out for the right reason, my health. My outlook on life has changed and I feel liberated by that. This group is my way of giving back and motivating others. less

They can be explained as something that can cause an intense, and usually negative, emotional reaction in someone. Triggers are likely to happen in someone who has been emotionally, physically, spiritually, or otherwise abused. They have, however, been known to show up in people who have not experienced specific abuse either. Let's use this group to record situations where we felt "triggered".
1. Describe the situation you experienced.
2. Describe how it triggered you (what emotion you felt).
3. Describe how you coped with it (if possible), or if you are having trouble working through the situation/emotion.
If you know what experience in your past led you to feel this trigger, AND YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE SHARING, please do so- although it is not necessary, especially if it is too painful. I am hoping that by sharing these experiences and feelings, we can help support each other through the healing process. less
