They can be explained as something that can cause an intense, and usually negative, emotional reaction in someone. Triggers are likely to happen in someone who has been emotionally, physically, spiritually, or otherwise abused. They have, however, been known to show up in people who have not experienced specific abuse either. Let's use this group to record situations where we felt "triggered".
1. Describe the situation you experienced.
2. Describe how it triggered you (what emotion you felt).
3. Describe how you coped with it (if possible), or if you are having trouble working through the situation/emotion.
If you know what experience in your past led you to feel this trigger, AND YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE SHARING, please do so- although it is not necessary, especially if it is too painful. I am hoping that by sharing these experiences and feelings, we can help support each other through the healing process. less

Music is the universal. We can hear a song and recall a particular moment in life or a feeling. It transcends language, color, gender and disability. It weaves through cultures and links us all through lyrics, rhythm and sound. This is the place where we can connect with the common core of what music means to us. Welcome Tribe!!
